GUIDOR, the Dutch National Guides’ Association

Guidor is the only association representing professionally qualified guides in the Netherlands. All our 140 registered guides have the national diploma and /or certificate for the profession to be a guide. These guides are reliable, informative, and professional and take pride in introducing visitors to the various aspects of Dutch life, culture, history, art and much more.

Guides are available for

• Coach tours, walking and cycling tours
• Museum and art gallery visits
• Thematic tours
• Conference excursions
• Incentive groups
• Sightseeing tours by coach, private vehicle, canal boat or any other means of transport.Furthermore, many of our guides are specialised in such fields as agriculture, horticulture, water management, history, art history and many more.

Guidor tries to assign a guide to fit with your wishes.

Guidor represents quality

After their initial training, all guides take extremely demanding examinations to test their knowledge of the Netherlands and their foreign language skills. Guidor can provide guiding services in 20 different languages – including Russian, Swedish, Arabic, Czech, Afrikaans.
Every year Guidor offers training courses to upgrade guides’ professional knowledge and skills to the highest level.
